Welcome to 3-5 Services!

After exiting the Early Intervention (EI) Program, you may be receiving your direct services either through your local school district, from a private therapy provider, a combination of both, or neither. By staying connected to the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities, you are able to access different services depending on your family's needs during this time.
The Family Support Services Program
While enrolled with the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities, you will be provided information regarding the Family Support Services Program. This program is intended to promote family unity by financially assisting and/or find resources to meet the needs of the enrolled individual and supporting the family. This funding source is considered a payer of last resort for items that are therapeutic in nature, therapy co-pays, respite, and more. If you were previously enrolled while receiving Early Intervention services then you will remain enrolled so long as you have used the funds within the last year. For more information, check out the link below!
Early Childhood and Agency Events

Periodically we will send out notifications of upcoming events within the Early Childhood division as well as Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities agency events and community/educational opportunities. Your email address will be automatically added to the list to receive information about Early Childhood specific events. If you want to receive the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities "Dreams" agency newsletter you can sign up at the link below!
Privacy and Parent Rights
If your child is attending the local school district, there are rights that you have as a parent of a child on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). As you move forward in this process, it’s important to know that you have legal rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). For more information about those rights, check out the link below!
Mandatory Reporting
All professionals involved in your child's care are mandated reporters under state law. This means that if there are concerns regarding the safety and well-being of your child, we are required to report them to the appropriate authorities. Please know that this requirement is in place to protect children and ensure that any potential concerns are addressed promptly.

Transitioning Out of Early Intervention
We understand that transitioning away from Early Intervention can come with many questions and needs, so we’ve put together a list of helpful resources that may be useful to you during your time in the 3-5 program and as your child grows. The below resources can help you plan and envision your child's journey with the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Due Process
If at any point you have concerns or questions about the services your child is receiving, you have the right to seek changes through our due process procedure. For more information, check out the brochure below.
